Inflation is back up. Unemployment is slowly rising last numbers were 4.3% and higher by now.

And are you that ignorant that you don’t understand obesity and poor food choices. Low income people are eating McDonalds. Their budgets don’t allow much so they buy high fat high carb foods to keep from feeling hungry.

White bread is $3. whole wheat bread is $4.50. If you have a low budget you can’t afford the healthy bread.

And don’t forget the tarrif disasters have raised prices and people are angry about the mess Trump made.

What do you think the $230m taxpayer money that Trump is paying himself is going to be used for?

And even if that list of donors contributed the full amount, they would still be receiving tax deductions. Which means the ballroom is being subsidized by the taxpayers.

I see so many conservatives, both pundits and people on facebook, that are saying this is no big deal, it's just like Jackie Kennedy renovating or Obama adding a basketball court, where was the outrage then, etc.

the entire east wing is gone. oh and he lied. so there are your two differences.

but I wonder why the sudden interest in arguing with "libs" over this? do they realize the visuals are horrible? maybe trump's support is weakening?

usually they just let us twist in the wind, so wondering what is up.

It doesn't matter what money is being used. He doesn't own the WH and those who have been charged to care for it didn't give him approval to change a thing. I can't raise money and go to Mar-a-Lago and start renovating the place and just say - well Trump doesn't have to pay for it - because I don't own it.
