Were they injured?
Don’t know but overheard Visitation missing their best player and another starting midfielder. Also lost another midfielder or attacker early in the game after getting two yellow cards.

Too many mental errors. Biggest one was they drew a yellow card but almost immediately threw it away and then NDP scored man don.
Mental errors are typically signs of subpar coaching. Could also be lack of individual training.
I’d be curious to see how the Baltimore area hs practices are run and compare them to ISL practices.
Are the Baltimore area girls training more?
The talent pool in Baltimore is much deeper. Girls that play on Varsity early on in D.C. because the talent is thin would be on JV or possibly cut in Baltimore. The skill level is just higher there.
Baltimore has more elite talent. The elite girls in DMV are just as good as Baltimore. Problem is that there is not many of them.
Hence the talent pool is deeper.
