Dems have a lot of people who are really good talkers - Buttigeig, Pritzker, Shapiro, Crockett - they are good at framing issues for the everyday American. One way or another we need to get a tiger team of folks like that to help reshape messaging for the Dems as a whole.

Crockett? You've got to be kidding me.

You might not like the way she communicates, but other people do, and she’s a rocket surgeon compared to anyone in the current administration.

"Rocket surgeon" ....the jokes just write themselves, folks.

She's an educated, intelligent, witty, and badass woman who doesn't take sh--. Her role now isn't her first foray into politics. So mock her if you want but you'll be sorry.

BTW, you're so comfortable hurling insults at her, what's your background?

This woman-beating POS is a multi-millionaire nonprofit founder. This is what Elon was prodding with DOGE. The graft via nonprofit grants is totally insane, with no checks and balances

If Elon was so concerned about graft why did he fire all of the inspectors general whose job it is to find it? The Atlantic reports today that the Department of Education has virtually no one left to investigate scam schools amid a huge increase in the types of schools allowed to take federal money.

Wes Moore — if he can survive the primary might be appealing beyond the party.

Sen. Elissa Slokin (D-MI) also endorsed him after a video went viral of him entering a single mother tenant's home armed with an AK-47 style gun. That's how he's a lawmaker right now. He won by a mere 108 votes on the November 2024 ticket carried by Slotkin. Democrats have to stop this crap to have a chance in 2028.

Ossoff | AOC or Buttigieg VP

Murphy | AOC or Ossoff VP

Not Whitmer!

Probably not Newsom.

What’s so spectacular about Beshar? Admittedly, don’t know much about him.

They have very high state taxes. Their educational system is not good when compared to other states. They have high homeless stats. In disasters, their local and state governments fail. Companies and wealth are fleeing the state.

They have low violent crime, but high property related crime.

They constantly have ridiculous stories like $1 million to constuct one public toilet.

Bottom line: they collect the tax money with the second highest state tax after Hawaii,, but they don't run things well. Very inefficient. Very bureaucratic. Slow to act. Over regulated by a mile, which is probably an indicator of graft and payoff to state government offices.

I can’t argue with you. Except how do you explain Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Arkansas? Apparently there are worse ways to run a state than California.

Newsom is NOT popular in CA among Democrats. If we want to take back the White House stop floating his name.

He has too many serious negatives:
1. He had an affair with his deputy chief of staff/friend/campaign manager’s wife. At the time Newsom was married to Kimberly Guifoyle (the same person who was Trump Jr.’s ex-fiancé , on Fox News, and now ambassador to Greece).

2. He is the king of “Rules for Thee But Not for Me”. Most CA were fine at first with the lock downs but then pictures surfaced of Newsom eating in a fancy restaurant with lobbyists for a birthday party maskless in Napa while telling everyone else to avoid gatherings and closing restaurants.

3. While he was busy with lobbyists, the state Employment Development Department had been mistakenly paying out unemployment benefits to convicted murderers, and other state prisoners and local jail inmates.By Monday, state investigators had identified $400 million paid on roughly 21,000 unemployment benefit claims improperly filed in the names of California prisoners.

This is just the start. There are so many others that other Californians can detail- nepo baby, fudges the truth then gets caught, super ultra progressive policies when mayor of SF and gov but now flip flopped back since he wants to run for President.

And most importantly CA is a solidly blue state, there is no point in having a politician from CA run for President. We need somebody from a swing state.

The coasts will vote for him. Middle America will vote for him.

I also like Chris Murphy but I fear that many people hate Connecticut too much.

I think Beshear is our best bet. I hope he competes well for the nomination.
