Prague. We went in 2015. Charles Bridge was jam packed with people. We saw more than one person peeing on walls.

Maybe it was nicer before it was overrun with people, but we didn’t enjoy it much at all.

Did not enjoy Carribbean vacation. Boring lying out on the beach got hot and grumpy, and the stark difference between the resort/tourist areas and the poverty/ramshackle areas where the locals lived was just depressing. most every island seemed to blend into each other and seemed to offer similar beach/resort vibe. if I was going to do a beach vacation would prefer a place with more interesting culture like Hawaii or Southeast Asia more different from the US.

Houston is far from soulless. I couldn’t deal with the late spring/summer/fall weather, and it’s not so green, but it’s the most diverse large city in the country (both racially- and religion-wise), and the food is incredible. I could say some things in favor of Dallas, but I can’t quibble much with negative reviews.

Back on topic, we found downtown Indianapolis sterile and creepy when we went for a wedding a couple of decades ago. It seems much cooler now.

There are some amazing non touristy places in Oahu. But Waikiki is not worth the visit.

Places I have not enjoyed at all include:

Madrid- it’s just like visiting a landlocked NYC but without Broadway, fashion, or modern art. Too big and hard to navigate.

Cologne- just incredibly boring and nothing to see beyond the church and the chocolate factory.

Philadelphia was dirty and smelly. Would not visit again.

Dakar Senegal. Beautiful people extremely kind and friendly amazing food. However very dirty city traffic congestion etc.
