Only weirdo I see is you.
You win biggest loser commenting on lax threads for the week.
If your premise is true, then the crossover to the 2 groups must be pretty rare. Otherwise, we'd see Ivy teams showing up regularly in FFs.Anonymous wrote:.Anonymous wrote:I would choose any Ivy League school over some of these other Division 1 schools with an 50% admission rate and a low academic profile.
Anyone who says otherwise is lying.
A mediocre school with a good lax team is nothing but a mediocre school when lacrosse is over.

Please. At the Ivies at least, very difficult to get in, have to have a hook, and easy to cruise through. Not a new development, but their average GPA is up to like 3.8. That's nutz. Anyone that doesn't know this is a rube.Anonymous wrote:Plus many players (probably most) would not be able to handle the academic load at an Ivy, Stanford, Duke, etc… and even more so when the demands of being a D1 athlete are factored in as well.
Sometimes kids with a choice pick a college where they know they can be successful academically and have fun. I know kids who turned down top academic schools because they knew they couldn’t hack it. It’s a very mature decision.
Sure, but Penn wlax isn't really in the same category as the other Ivies.Anonymous wrote:My player at a top 10 Ivy is having a blast, getting great internships, loving her teammate friends, partying with all the other sports teams and loving beating teams that used to be considered much better than the Ivies. Try to keep up! She could care less about Woke or not Woke it is not in their atmosphere.
But what if it's a dream school?Anonymous wrote:High academics equals a woke weirdo after 4 years. Go party play lax and be normal.
