I find it amazing that this conduct by any judge in any lower court would be instantly sanctioned, yet the highest court is not bound by the same rules of ethics. What's more, conservatives...no, let's call them what they are: nihilists...see no issue with this.

He asked his wife to stop flying the US flag upside down at their jointly owned primary residence in January 2021, in between the attempted insurrection and Biden’s inauguration, but she refused, so he concluded that there was nothing more he could do about the situation, and he thinks any reasonable, unbiased person would agree? I don’t know about that, especially after he mentioned the neighbors’ offensive political sign was near a school bus stop where children wait (but school had been virtual for almost a year and buses weren’t running) and that the upside down flag was in response to being called a profanity by a neighbor (except that confrontation actually took place a month later). At this point, I can only conclude that he’ll just say whatever without any genuine examination of any perception of impartiality.

Again: if Sotomayor's husband flew an anti-Trump flag and she refused to recuse herself from issues regarding Trump, conservatives would (rightfully) be shitting railroad spikes. But apparently ethics are for suckers.

If you are an American and a patriot, you too should consider the damage that Alito is doing to SCOTUS. That damage is ultimately worse for the United States than for “liberals”. You too should desire a SCOTUS that is above reproach and the envy of the world. Our rule of law has made us a global force to be reckoned with.

Alito is mocking the country and everything the United States stands for.
