WHEN Lake wins, expect her to clean house. If Fontes does win, he will be forced out due to his own corruption (look at his history) He's like that Broward County election chief, Snipes, that resigned in humiliation.
The Fontes race has already been called by everyone. He is up over 100k votes and by 5.6%!!
And there are still 245K votes uncounted in the very red areas of Maricopa alone and I believe, about 340k votes total, again from red areas. Fontes is the local election controller in Pima and has not released South Pima votes. Convenient, given that’s Pima’s red area. If you look at other red areas in AZ, they have been breaking 70/30 for republicans. So if that holds, Fontes lead is going to erode very fast.
Have you looked at some of the things Fontes has done when he was in Maricopa? The actual court records? He’s as bad or worse than Florida’s Snipes. If liberals and leftists here support either of those candidates, there must be a win at all costs attitude.
This article lists Fontes police record. He’s as corrupt as they come, personally and politically. If Democrats can elect people like this, complaining about crime falls on deaf ears.

It is ridiculous that tabulating votes is taking this long. Their election officials should be embarrassed.
The reason elections are not trusted. When cameras go dark and they have a vote dump during that time, people are going to be inflamed. Then it has to be explained away by mainstream:
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/elections/2022/11/10/livestream-cams-washoe-county-vote-count-area-went-dark-heres-why/10661538002/
Changes require the state legislatures to change the way votes are counted. If you don’t allow mail ballots to be counted until Election Day, then it will take a long time. This is just a simple change, prep and count ballots as they come in. Lots of states do it and you end up with 98-99% counts on election night. Now you can never get 100% on election night because of military ballots and mail postmarks on Election Day, also time to cure ballots. They need that extra week to get the final 1-2%. Still it’s a simple process change that resolves all but the closest elections on election night.
I’m not talking about counting. I’m talking about the live cameras put in so people can observe the process suddenly malfunctioning, during which time a large dump came in, were counted, and added to the tally. If you want to gain the trust of the American people, you wait to count those votes. So now it has an Epstein-like feel. And those votes broke for Dems. The problem is, if we want to be trusted and believed, and you want Americans to trust the process and the nonsense to stop, you can’t behave like this.
From the comments I see on this site, even moderate Democrats are chided and ridiculed for asking questions, and have expressed their disappointment
This wouldn’t be an issue if simple changes were made to count the votes quicker. And who fights against changes such as prepping and counting mail in ballots as the come in, Republicans that is who. If fact, many want all hand counted paper ballots and only counted on or after Election Day! That would take weeks to get any results, and be way less accurate.
Again, you focus on counting. Let me make this simple. If cameras go dark that are supposed to make the process transparent, stop counting and don't dump a bunch of votes.
Do you really believe only the cameras are watching...that there aren't actual people in the room overseeing the process?
This is what I find really difficult to understand. That there are people out there that believe that internet randos watching vote counts remotely is what's going to "stop the steal".
Again, does it matter? The cameras are there for a reason - to bring integrity to the process. When the cameras go down and 9 minutes later there is a large vote dump that erodes a solid lead in a highly contested Senate race, people naturally will question the process. Making fun of those people only cements their viewpoint. I would think every person in the US would want transparency. That people here argue against it? I don't know what to say.
Something tells me you wouldn’t be coming up with all these fantastical theories if your side was ahead.

Note the two red dots in Idaho.
What’s next, am I going to be accused of altering Politico’s map?
Of course there are two red dots in Idaho, Idaho hasn’t had a Democratic representative in more than a decade.

This hit piece condemns him for 1. doing his job as a defense attorney 2. having an alcohol and drug abuse problem as a minor and later college student and 3. uses a desperate RW lawsuit ot "prove" he is corrupt. Except, apparently he isn't smart enough to rig all the elections in AZ over his career, since he oversaw numerous republican wins.
But sure. The oath keeper and looney tunes election denier is above board.
