they were. hopefully the reasons why they stayed for another year come out. I ain't spilling the beans. but a lot of pressure came down on them, one of many things.
Spill it
There's nothing to spill... There was a troll post by an ECNL person/parent who for whatever reason is obsessed with GA
cool story. if that makes you feel better, good for you. 2 teams informed ga they were leaving. ga bent the knee to keep them in. it is what it is. we will see if they stay after next season.
More than that. Rumor is the Ga waived all their entrance fees and showcase fees for both teams.
Top Hat and LF were on their way out.
Boys would have had to go ECNL.

Going to guess if this was true GA offered Lou Fusz the second team to entice them to stay. The timing of it works out.
But is Lou Fusz giving up MLSNext to play ECNL? I doubt it. Unless ECNL is starting to feel pressure and is willing to go back on their rule of having both your top Girl and Boys team.
A few teams have left MLSN for ECNL - definitely mediocre MLSN clubs but I think the new rules for HG around not playing HS ball are going to push more boys clubs towards ECNL. Because the truth is most MLSN HG kids aren't even playing D1 soccer anymore because of int'l players and transfers, so why give up HS soccer just to go play D3 or not play at all when you could have done that all along.
To say that those teams were mediocre is an absolute stretch, they were downright bad. It's also confirmed that one of those teams were definitively kicked out by MLSN

I think it’s more likely that LF was offered second team to stay in the conference they are in since travel is awful and their travel parter in STL is not in that conference starting next season.
are the conferences posted anywhere for next seasons? I have been unable to find them anywhere online.
