In the story where she’s talking about challenges for moms trying to discern magic, it is so clear how short the dress is. If she bends down, you are seeing her entire panties. It’s not just unflattering but so distasteful. No class even if it’s a $250 dress.

Yeah I know Farm Rio and they have great stuff but even I can’t wear it and I have Jen’s body but I’m about 15lbs thinner than she. It’s meant for that tall, lanky and young audience. Their clothes have beautiful patterns but a lot of volume and it’s hard for women our age to pull it off. The belt she added was so bad. They have a few v neck midi dresses that could have worked but nothing w those dreadful, OUT OF SEASON boots.

Jen is looking very drag queeny. She really needs to age scale her look and soften. S-o-f-t-e-n! She looks harsh and uncomfortable. She has some very age appropriate but fashionable friends. I’d start with Jessica H.

Agree. The over the knee boots with that short dress is just not a flattering look. I have long legs and could maybe pull that off but I’m 50. That’s a no. I realize I’d come across as an old lady trying to look 25. I’m not 25. I want to dress stylish and classic while commanding a presence. You don’t have to look like a meemaw but shouldn’t be trying for cheap and tacky either. If she’s going to shill clothes and makeup she needs a stylist.

She’s wearing a Farm Rio dress, which is a sustainable brand that’s not cheap. They have some really beautiful longer pieces; she just happened to choose the absolute worst thing for her age, height and body. And with those boots? What? So bad.

I know she’s proud to buy clothes cheaply and from Amazon but she has the money to buy staples that are age appropriate and make her feel good (reformation, Boden, etc). She doesn’t have to dress like she’s a grandma but the cheap, short, tacky clothes don’t help her appearance. Spend more money on timeless, chic and sophisticated outfits that can mix and match for these opportunities. Fast fashion isn’t meant for a stage.

My hair is as dark as Katie Holmes. BUT I only have upkeep on the roots. So my hair is a lot healthier and way less expensive even w my roots being bright white on dark hair. And brown sprays don’t have all the nuance as blonde in coloring those roots. She’d save money and time keeping it dark.

Same. My hair is at least 50% gray and my natural hair color is similar to Jen's. I've landed on a color similar to JLo's - medium brown with blonde balyage. The upkeep isn't bad. JLo is secretly pretty gray, too!

I’m sure she’s gone gray since she’s a natural brunette. I’m in 40s and need roots every 4 weeks for almost 8 years. It’s a lot of work but I spray my roots to stretch out the visits. Going blonde isn’t the solution for me or her. She has roots either way and they aren’t really disguised better as a blonde bc it’s such a bad color on her. Even if she has as much gray as me (I’m prob 75% if I let it go wild), she can spray roots down and prob still go 6-8 weeks.

In her video from Mom conference, in the short dress that she just posted, the roots of her frizzy blonde hair look totally gray! I wonder if she has gone completely gray and isn't really brunette anymore...?
The dress is cute but way too short, it looks more like a shirt.
