Yes, Tyler’s t-shirts are lame but at least he showed up and Sydney seems to adore him as well. She looks way more at ease with Tyler than Tina.

There could be countless reasons that Tyler has not introduced Jen to his parents. That doesn’t mean they’re not serious. Maybe Shannon planned and went to the anniversary because she has developed her own relationship with his parents over time. Maybe she’s an extraordinary party planner. Jen could have been busy on the anniversary date. We don’t know!

And for the other poster, we know that Jen Hatmaker is a business. Jen Hatmaker is also a salesperson. This issue is that she’s inconsistent, stunted and I’m not sure what she’s selling anymore… hopefully Jen the person continues to get well so Jen the business can sell better content.

My husband wears some stupid outfits but he will usually relent and change if I make a stink. I wonder if Jen thinks, wow, cool T-Shirt my boyfriend is wearing ! Or, is she secretly dying of embarrassment?

Most grown ass adults do not understand how influencer marketing works. Most people don't give it the thought that I am right now. But that's why when they do finally realize it's all smoke and mirrors they feel duped and tricked and the trust they built is dissolved. And that's why they get mad this relationship is actually purely transactional, and the nice lady on their phone is actually making tons and tons of money off of them. That's why the Jen haters are so obsessed and miserable about her - they think she's a lying fraud and can't accept that this is business, not personal.

I'm not agreeing with it, but this is the explanation. Most people are not smart, and sales people are trained to use every sales tactic they have to close the deal. That does sometimes mean they rely on emotional manipulation, algorithm manipulation, etc. That relatability is a double-edge sword.

Yup. And to add to your point and also the pp above you, I’ll just say: Jen and Tyler look like they go together. And Tina and Brandon look like they go together. Take that however you want. It’s probably how I meant it.

Tyler dresses like he’s 50 trying to be 14. I’d dump him just for his clothing choices alone but if any dude ever treated me second class the way he seemingly treats Jen, I’d be out before he could don an immature tshirt. Know your worth. Add tax. Don’t settle for this kind of BS from a man.

Jen posted pictures of Sydney’s graduation celebration. First, completely snark comment of Jen’s outfit vs Tina’s, jmho, Jen’s looked trashy, Tina’s looked classy.

But picture of Jen, Sydney and Tyler with Tyler’s shirt “A Black Woman Created This” I don’t even know what to say.

Jen hasn’t met Tyler’s parents yet?? 🙄 Taking a flight to Vegas is like the easiest flight to book. He really does keep her out of the inner circles.

Well, her Sidney graduation post is now up. If she and Tina hadn’t met yet, surely they finally did yesterday. Both looked fabulous, and both had their men by their side, so it should have been a friendly draw.

There is NO explanation for a relationship or 11 months to exclude the partner for your parents 50th wedding celebration, ESPECIALLY when you’re bringing your female best friend. Jen has not even met his parents. What a joke of a relationship
