Planned and he is a complete lying sociopath so he would sound normal on the video. That is why on the stand he used all those nicknames and how he stole money from his clients. Or how he talked about taking enough opioids to kill an elephant regularly. He can do it all with a straight face.

It was planned. He told them both to come to the house because his dad was dying. Maggie wanted to meet Alex at the hospital but he told her to go the house and she texted a friend that was "fishy" and that she thought Alex "was up to something."

You know if he had destroyed their phones and successfully disposed of them like he did with the guns he would have gotten away with it.

Last night we watched the Netflix series. 3 or 4 episodes. Mallory's family and boyfriend. Seemed like such nice people. Paul's girlfriend family was working class and he shit all over her. As a mom of a tween, how could you convince your daughter to stay away from shitty rich guy? Alex and Maggie giving them alcohol at 14.

I did think those calls were extremely weird. The one about dove hunting particularly. But what stood out even more than Alex using code to ask for help was the fact that Buster was telling him no and refusing to engage with him about how awesome it is to remember his mom drunk. If he didn't actually kill Stephen Smith, it gave me some hope for Buster.
