I actually think they're regressed from 9v9 when they could play defensively and hope for counters. The big field took away the strengths of their best players.
Hmmmm, lost to PPA in State Final last spring. Never beat Pipeline last season. Lost to Lower Merion at WAGS this fall.
Past month, beat Pipeline for first time. Beat PPA over the weekend 3-0. Beat Lower Merion 3-1. Yep, true signs of regressing, winning games they lost last season and at WAGS earlier this Fall. Play defensively and hope for counters, lol! You are just a parent driven by your dislike for Bethesda for whatever reasons. Again, nobody ever claimed Bethesda would beat Loudoun either.
I refuse to sink to your level and make wild accusations about what club you are from.

Please feel free to inform us on your DDs fall accomplishments against teams that are rated in the top 100 teams in the US. Did anyone else in our area beat Loudoun? Or PDA? Or Matchfit? Did anyone even play a top 25 team other than Pipeline or Bethesda?
Here, I’ll start for you.
Bethesda ECNL
#2 Matchfit; lost twice, 1-0 and 3-1
#4 PDA; lost 4-1
#16 Pipeline; won 3-2
#22 Loudoun; lost 3x, 2-1, 3-1, and 3-1
#39 Century GA; won 3-0
#40 Penn Fusion; tie 2-2
No doubt there are some haters…Bethesda 09 definitely one of the best in DMV. Their resume is impressive and they have a bright future.
#64 Lower Marion; lost 2-1, won 3-0
#88 VDA; won 2-0
I can do this for you if need be, just let me know. I have a feeling I won’t be getting any requests though.

Loudoun 09 is the top 09 girls team in the DMV hands down. Great job Loudoun!🏆💪
They are the best team this year. It won’t continue but you should enjoy it while it lasts.
Pretty good chance I will enjoy it next year as well😁
Eventually the other players will grow and catch-up physically. You’ll see it a little bit next year but especially the following year. Feel free to bookmark this post and pull it up in the future. Size in speed can only carry a team for so long.
Are you implying that’s the only reason Loudoun won because of the players’ size and speed?🤔
No, that is you reading too much into someone's opinion. Nobody is implying or making excuses. PP is commenting on style of play. It's well known that Loudoun plays a very direct style that produces at early ages. It's a fact, not an excuse. Nobody said there is anything wrong with direct soccer either. That is the style of this Loudoun. If you are happy with not connecting 5 passes during an entire game in the efforts to get the ball forward to your highly talented forward, that is your prerogative. Beat Bethesda fair and square with a direct style. But please, please don't act like Loudoun plays a possession style game with midfielders playing a major role. Your U15 team is still having success with this style of play and for all anyone knows, that can continue. That is all.
Why are you bringing the U15 team into the conversation? But since you did, I've watched them multiple times and they most certainly play a possession style of play, connecting significantly more passes than most of their opponents.

They should be decent since most teams haven't been using them. Does it matter though? Wear cleats and expect the play to be slower if you are used to playing on turf.
