I know the reopening committee was meeting/voting last night. But I haven't received an official email or seen communication yet. Did you really receive something by 6:47 AM this morning? Even if it is a lock it doesn't seem wise to spread the infomation before it has been officially shared with the community.

This is the issue.
I will say it again. If you have questions about the process of becoming a Board Member reach out to the Board Chair and ask to speak with the chair of the Committee of Trustees. I'm sure they would welcome the opportunity to answer them. Lastly you do have a say with your vote, you can vote no for individuals put on the ballot.
Are you for real? I'm pretty sure they would not be interested in talking about this issue. And if the PP did bring up the issue of how nominations are done by current board members and that serves to be exclusionary for other members of the community, they would get on someone's sh*tlist pretty quickly.
