So, according to Brandon, he met Tina after the divorce. So, not the affair partner. Honestly, I wonder if there was no affair and no woman. Just his substance of choice and perhaps lots of money spent/lost in it. Saw that someone commented on his Instagram that it was a jerk move for him to post that when Jen was on vacation. Sorry, the world doesn’t revolve around Jen.

Jen mentioned something about being concerned or thinking something was up about Brandon to her friends beforehand. They all said Brandon would never. That led me to believe it was infidelity. Now i think it was addiction and women which cost him lots of money which he had to hide. That's five years of hiding and things getting out of control.

Looking back over Jen’s posts on Instagram from the past 5 years. I really wonder what the catalyst was for his downward spiral? It looked like they were traveling and having fun, and very much in love. It also looked like they had hit the big time - the fancy lake house, her speaking engagements and celebrity friends. (2016 was also election time and Jen was all about her anti-Trump messaging; but that couldn’t have caused this, right?) It legitimately looks like mo’ money, mo’ problems.

Questions, I'm also a reddit and that app has subreddits about Everyone! Except, it's strangely quiet about Jen and has even removed posts about her. This thread is the only one that I found that actually talks about her. I think that's odd.

I think the girls are more upset with him, which is a pretty natural response to your dad's affair, and not want to be around your dad and his mistress. He and his GF live in Austin. He works for/with a high end home remodeling business in Austin.


Do we know 100% that he cheated and that Texas Barbie was his affair partner? Also, I thought I saw him
pictured with all three boys. Yes, if that did occur it’s natural for the children to be upset. However, it’s even more natural for children to want to have a relationship with their father whom they were previously close to. Most eventually forgive/accept the cheating parent eventually. Even if they don’t accept the affair partner. Sometimes even that.
Anyways, all I’m saying is that divorce doesn’t have to mean that your automatically the sole drivers Ed parent. Especially if the other parent is in town. Remy really must not want Brandon around. I doubt he would bring his girlfriend.


I don't think we 100% know he cheated, I think it is still speculation.

I agree. So many of her posts (and writing) pre-divorce talked about how he was the thoughtful, giving spouse. About how he celebrated birthdays and anniversaries with really great gifts, and she just wasn’t “made” that way. It makes sense that she is missing that thoughtfulness in him, without mentioning the things about him specifically that she misses.

Huh. I think it would be more odd if she talked about him personally. They're divorced and that would be weird to bring in personal things about him. Usually she's a bit much for me, but this insightful reflection was sad and true. As someone in my 40s it makes me think about friendships too. Especially those that changed the last year.

I, too, thought this was real and poignant. However, I think it’s it’s interesting that she doesn’t talk about things she misses about him or them together, she only talks about missing him knowing all about her. Her quirks and likes and dislikes. I’m probably being too picky, I mean I get that she doesn’t want to reveal private things about him, like how he liked his coffee or what his favorite music was. But, I can kind of see that maybe it was always about him knowing her and maybe not as much about her knowing him.
