If you contact any ECNL or DA club, even now, they will look at you. Players can always be added if there is room.
That is what I'm saying. Some poster said there was no room, even though MU is holding ID sessions.
I'm aware clubs will look at a player at any time. Very easy.

I have never seen a club turn down a playejavascript:void(0);r who would help their team win...........regardless of the time of year.

I think a DA team can add players until April. Then the window closes.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:After July 1, can DA players attend ID sessions without getting approval from their current club?
Yes
Though not sure how that works if your already signed on for next season with a deposit and all. Would your team from this current year hold your player card for next if that’s the case I don’t see them granting a release. If one didn’t sign up I imagine that’s an easier situation.

Because I can count the number of wins they have this year on one hand? Maybe last year too?
They are improving though. And not being abused by the coaches. Win.
Not OP. The most expensive program in the area though with nothing to show for it.
ITS A NEW CLUB, players need to get used to other players, coaching, etc.
You can’t expect a fabulous team from the get go.....
Baby steps....
Been around for 2 years now. Other clubs in the area have been around for the same amount of time.
+1

So some poster was wrong. They cut the rosters WAY back -- many current players are not returning. That leaves a few slots for players that would fill needs or add value. MOST clubs (not WSVA) try to leave a little space. You never know when the next Marta is going to show up from out of town.... That's the smart play.
Well she will be playing for Metro United when she does show up.
No, she won’t.
There is always room on any roster for a talented player.
Typically, but not always. As an example, we have friends from MA whose DS plays DA there. They are moving to CO for the fall. He went out to CO twice this spring for ID sessions and another time to just practice was the team. Was offered 2nd team at Real Colorado. Maybe that club/age group is just better, maybe not. His parents felt it seemed he was more skilled than many others out there, but of course that's their point of view.... -- but player selection sometimes is about not being able to tell enough from seeing a new player in a few, limited ID situations and therefore holding on to what you have and not displacing someone....
