That’s the word around my parent group too. He seems like a nice person who cares about the girls but I worry about his lack soccer knowledge and experience. It feels like they lost some coaches and could not fill the holes so Bronson is the coach by default.
Bronson is an A licensed soccer coach. Qualified

Bronson New coach to VDA but coming from VSA where he has great ideas and success (hopefully taking over 05)
Quan P. Been coaching at VDA for many many years. (He is an amazing coach that teaches not only technical skills but tactical skills at a very young age has been very successful) taking over 08 and hopefully 07
Steve S. Been with VDA and still with VSA on the boys side. (Great coach has many years of developing and taking teams to the next level. (Hopefully the 03 team gets him back because my DD will come back if that happens)
My DD used to play for VDA and I have been watching them closely. Most of above is facts about the coaches but the slate has yet to be chosen. I can tell the readers this nothing is happening at VDA as you can see they have amazing coaching. The club is putting things together and trying to do what’s right for all the families and girls involved. Stop listening to idiots on this forum that want to see VDA fail and if you have questions email the club.

I heard that as well, apparently some 03 parents complained and I have been hearing people saying he might get 04 but those parents want Mikey as the new coach. If Bronson would get the 04 VDA team many parents would be very upset and possibly leave. Lots of rumors flying at VDA currently.
MC told 03 parents that Mikey will not take over the 03 team. It would be a conflict of interest and doesn’t want to stir-up problems with the girls about recruiting BRYC players. They are trying to get Steve S. to take over the 03 girls. If this happens I’m sure a handful of BRYC girls will come over. Loop hole found. Well played MC.
Steve S isn’t coming back to VDA. How well played was that move exactly?

One of my daughters is playing in college now, you don’t believe how insignificant winning is 9-15 until you have had a son/daughter go through the full process.
Colleges will not be recruiting any players until summer break Sophomore/Junior year, everything leading up to that point is about having you’re kid in a challenging environment, have you’re kid ask to play different positions, have you’re son/daughter understand they have to work hard away from club training.
Enjoy every moment of you’re kid playing because you will miss it when they graduate.

Generally the best coaches and club get the most crap on DCUM. My DD is very happy at VDA and it is nice to see the trolls giving some attention.

That would be quite the coaching lineup. Talk about giving the VDA players all the skills/tools to be unstoppable on the pitch. IQ given by each coach moving them through there developing would be outstanding.
TK would be great. Unfortunately, this is not what will happen.
Considering all of 2006 VDA was leaving if TK stayed as the coach I do not think they need to bring him back. QP?s current team is getting killed by Loudoun and McLean. 06 McLean tied MW?s 06 team where Scott beat them 6-0.
Did you attend the game? Did VDA 06 play all of their starters to their fullest? Any injuries? One game doesn?t mean a lot especially if there are factors like these to be considered.
Scott Letts and Mikey played a bunch of times. My DD plays at BRYC. In the 4 ECNL matches we finished with 15 goals and Scott?s VDA finished with 2.
It will be very different to his new girls being asked to play possession soccer, I?m sure they will do amazing.
I think the gap in individual talent between the teams had something to do with that. A lot more than the coaching did.
One played possession style soccer, one played kick and run. When a team can?t get touch the soccer ball I think it?s a little more than individual talent
Not every team has the players to play a possession style against the top teams. Just look at the college commitments on either team. The 06 team played a good possession style under Scott.
