It's a 5 mile drive from Wheaton if you want to avoid 495/270

Just curious... Is bussing provided throughout the DCC or is it that if you choose out of bounds you have to provide your own transportation?

Source? That sounds like BS.
That's one of the options for Woodward and listed by MCPS.
There is strong possibility of that given that Woodward's main aim is to help DCC and WJ.
”Strong possibility” and “one of the options” =/= “likely.”
Given what MCPS has openly stated, it's much more than one of the options.
They almost have too make it part of the DCC. If they pair-off some of the already scarce middle class neighborhoods out of the DCC and create another feeder system that in closed entry to the rapidly slipping demographics in the east county, the social justice crowd will revolt. Where as when they move the WJ families into the DCC the SJ crowd will be delighted some W families are being screwed. The WJ families won’t be able to protest too much without looking like they simply don’t want their kids to go to school with black and Spanish kids.
Only one of those is viable in today’s climate, sorry WJ Familes. Should have thought about this before buying on the boarder to the east.

Reality starts with a dream. DCC needs one good school. Ideally, BCC, WJ and BCC should join DCC.
B-CC is a a GS 7 and WJ is just an 8. Both are mediocre. Overall Blair does much better than any county school in terms of college admission and academic awards.
Anonymous wrote:"Spanish kids"?! You think there's been a surge of immigrants from Madrid?
