Unfettered capitalism. Another word for a thing that has uncontrolled malignant growth is CANCER.

Have any lesser minds running the show for some years + greed = corruption and inefficiencies which is where we are now.
Those countries that have less population - way easier to work. You give certain safety nets and it works - you give safety nets to 300M people? Nope, not gonna work as well.
India has poverty running rampant to the tune of immigrating out of the country.
China has a different system where the govt controls their population - it's all oversight. I know it's unpopular opinion and in theory wrong but when you have a certain number of people and over, you need that type of control or left to our own devices, a capitalist society just gets nuts.
That's where we all are - broken is an appropriate word.
I do think we can "right" things if we change the system. Just not sure how we will be able to change it - will be long and painful process I'm sure. Unfortunately, there's also a tipping point I think which is when we must change or go down the drain. Trump, for better or worse, has impacted that change.

Cannot agree more.

I would say that the civil war was the last time the US was ‘completely’ broken. But the right side came through.
This country is broken now for sure, but I like to think of it as like a broken bone, when it eventually heals it comes back stronger.
That’s often how it goes. Look how 9/11 “healed” divisions. People rally to a certain kind of common patriotic cause.
I mean, I’m not going anywhere.
It’s just not cool to demonize entire races and creeds and ethnic origins of people, somehow too many stupids believe that “might means right”
If that were true, my cousin with a whole room for his dozens of guns and cases of ammunition would be setting the trend instead of having to retire early because he has no more workers to help do the labor for his landscaping business. I mean, he’s 65 and as fat as a squirrel with a tub of peanut butter. He’s not doing that labor.
He tried to reach me through one of my adult kids last year. I’m the “millionaire” in the family. That dude righteously hated my dad, because his dad and my dad hated one another, but he never reached out to me once before he had financial troubles.
His Jesus folk can bail him out
