so its okay for a parent not to care if their kid is playing in level 2 soccer at GA? oh please. if they care about development that would mean playing with and against the best players, giving them the most/best opportunities to be seen by colleges seems etc. etc. more like parent dereliction.



Each kid has different dreams/desires/goals. If you can’t accept that, I feel bad for your kid. Helicopter elsewhere and let the adults speak. Take your kid to therapy, because with you as a parent it is probably well past due. Live your life, let your kid lead theirs.

“Playing against the best players”
- first you have to be on the field to play the best players for a significant amount of time to develop
- Second, aside from ECNL top 2 or 3 teams, there are no best players.

Unless you are a top player in those top teams, forget it.

Must be more to it than on field performance if true. Quick look at standings, Space Coast was between 6th and 9th in ever ager group. Never top half, but never dead last either. Definitely not a TSJ situation with a minus billion goal differential.

Exactly this. Then it all quickly comes to an end for everybody, and nobody but you will remember or care that your daughter played ECNL.

+1000. A good player is a good player regardless of the league acronym. Coaches recruit players not leagues. Just make sure your player is in the right developmental environment. Simple.

Why too funny?

GA gave an opportunity to a club in a geo that they needed a presense in.

It didnt work out so they dropped them out of GA.

Seems pretty rational and normal to me.
