I swear this is just so triggering to some of you. Some of you can't handle any change to your normal routine. Just like you couldn't handle the pandemic.
If you really can't handle a few snow days, and the time with your kids, consider therapy. Please.
No one is even talking about this anymore on this thread. Try to keep up.
That's a good part of the thread. You just don't like that you got called out.
We want to resurface shaming people who can’t just seamlessly work full time jobs and provide childcare at the same time indefinitely and tell them if they are overwhelmed it means they hate their kids and something is wrong with them? Yes keep going. This is inspiring and supportive.
are you the lady who spoke before school board last night to ask why APS didn't open for YOUR kids even though 6 school parking lots and 30% of sidewalks were not cleared?
No some of you have a lot of time on your hands.

One of the biggest causes of death in kids is car accidents, yet kids ride in cars every day.
I know a kid who broke his leg tripping over the curb, yet we still have curbs.
You can't live your life with zero risk or based on anecdotes.
And we take steps to mitigate risks every day. Based on your logic, why have speed limits, seat belts and why even plow, shovel and salt in the first place? Let's allow guns on school property too while we're at is.
Yup, I'm totally supportive of mitigation efforts, including pressing the county to better. I'm just not in favor of keeping schools closed.
