Whatever could or couldn’t be criminally prosecuted, the fact that he knew and the furthest extent of his rage was to tell Ghislaine to ‘knock it off’ is what the majority of moral Americans find repugnant. He should have reported them to police and the fact that he didn’t reveals his moral bankruptcy and the high likelihood that his complicity in that and other morally repugnant behavior prevented him wanting to come onto the radar of law enforcement.
Exactly. Anything criminal is past the statute of limitations anyway. The issue now is what Trumps behavior says about him, not whether he could be prosecuted for it. Looking at this through a narrow criminal law lens is the wrong way to do it.
Don't be so sure about a statute of limitations barring charges. Some states, inlcuding Florida, have none when the victim is a minor, when there is a cover up, etc.

Epstein saw Trump during Thanksgiving trip to Florida in 2017, during Trump's first Presidential term.

Well it could happen to any of us. I am spending my Thanksgiving with my sister, her family, some members of my husbands extended family and some close friends. If a known child predator showed up, how exactly is that my fault?
You are really behind the current maga messaging. They have accepted that he is a pedo and have moved onto justifying why it’s not so bad to be a pedo.

Your new MAGA messaging is “at least they were not two years old” and “fourteen is not that young.”
Megan R. Kelly has your talking points.
The whole party switch on Epstein has been wild to watch. Every Democrat is now Maude Flanders on the issue while still insisting schools need to teach 10 year olds how to suck a d…
We've had two kids go through elementary, middle and now high school in a very blue district. We were given every opportunity to opt them out of any controversial content. We didn't and they didn't learn anything remotely like this. Are you even a parent?

Too young to be trans but old enough to have sex with 50 year old men.
-Meghan Kelly, I guess

Were you all-in and participatory in that extended family member's pedophilia operation prior to that Thanksgiving dinner? If you're going to use an analogy, at least try with it.
+1...and this happened at Mar-a-Lago, Trump's own property. So it's not like he and Epstein just happened to show up at the same place.
