Agreed, very strong and talented group! Great pieces in place already and overall speed and athleticism in all positions. You can tell the offense and defense still need time/practice to get the timing down. Typical for a new team.
Wouldn't be surprised if this team breaks thru the top 10 in the fall. Looks likes they beat all teams from #16 thru #20 already (and beat SW twice) If they keep this team together, watch out!
It remains to be seen whether the team can achieve a top 10 ranking. Based on current performance, this could be difficult to achieve. However, with some adjustments maybe its possible. While I acknowledge it has been discussed on this thread ad nauseum, it is worth noting (again) that many very good 2028 players play for M&D, Hero's, Et al. Had Capital been able to somehow return those players and successfully assemble a true DC-area all star team, the resulting team could have been on the same level as any in the country. People like to trash 2028 as a down year in the DC area, but I don't think that is necessarily accurate. They lost too much talent to the Baltimore teams.

This sounds reasonable but who knows if the girls who left would’ve made any difference. The one thing I do know is that you’d have to be crazy to drive that far for practices.
You must be new to lacrosse in the DMV

Not one post suggests an M&DDC poster. In fact the opposite. Looks like Cap has birthed this all on its own.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I don’t get the shitting on Capital. They are 21st in the country and winning against some really good teams. What are you complaining about?
I really think it all has to do with the 29s. Some M&D DC 2029 parent (or other affiliate) really wants that team to stay together instead of disbanding for Capital, and is trashing the 2027 and 2028 Capital teams on various forums. You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.

What are the other lax forums (aside from BOTC)?
