Loudoun 09 is the top 09 girls team in the DMV hands down. Great job Loudoun!đđȘ
They are the best team this year. It wonât continue but you should enjoy it while it lasts.
Pretty good chance I will enjoy it next year as wellđ
Eventually the other players will grow and catch-up physically. Youâll see it a little bit next year but especially the following year. Feel free to bookmark this post and pull it up in the future. Size in speed can only carry a team for so long.
Are you implying thatâs the only reason Loudoun won because of the playersâ size and speed?đ€
No, that is you reading too much into someone's opinion. Nobody is implying or making excuses. PP is commenting on style of play. It's well known that Loudoun plays a very direct style that produces at early ages. It's a fact, not an excuse. Nobody said there is anything wrong with direct soccer either. That is the style of this Loudoun. If you are happy with not connecting 5 passes during an entire game in the efforts to get the ball forward to your highly talented forward, that is your prerogative. Beat Bethesda fair and square with a direct style. But please, please don't act like Loudoun plays a possession style game with midfielders playing a major role. Your U15 team is still having success with this style of play and for all anyone knows, that can continue. That is all.
More excuses upon excuses. Take a loss and shut up.

WHO CARES! It's not like your team is going to get recruited off a u13 win. Loudoun won. Great! But it has nothing to do with the end game of getting recruited into college. If that is the final end game. Size and speed do make Loudoun better than all the other teams. But eventually it will even out and teams that can play smarter will win regardless of size. Start focusing on your daughter and how she plays the game.
