The 04s are a new team for him but have been weak. This will be a real test to see if his coaching techniques of screaming and belittling can produce results from a less talented group. If any parent wants to move their kid to that after Spirit, they made the wrong choice to join Spirit in the first place, which has never pretended to be a “win at any costs” type of club.

The 02 team he took over went from 10th in CCL to 3rd in the mid Atlantic conference in ECNL and qualified for nationals. My kid plays on that team and every player on that team has improved so much. The difference a year with this coach has made with the 02 team is staggering. My daughter has never been belittled and as I have said on this forum before my kid and her coach have a very good relationship. I think finishing 3rd in an ECNL conference means you are a good team? It would be nice if you could stop dragging young players and coaches that you clearly know very little about.

Apparently, you know very little.

He cut almost every girl on 02 roster from the previous year (CCL), so its not like he was coaching the same group of girls to a remarkable turn around. Plus, he stopped coaching one 02 during season to the point where she started playing with the 01 team. If he comes to the conclusion that a player can't help him win games, he stops coaching them. Or, if he's filling in as a coach, he'll have his girls play up and not play the girls at the level he is subbing for. This happens regularly.

He may indeed make your daughter a better soccer player, and will continue to do so as long as she can help win him games, but the guy is only out for himself.

[/

What is making you sit on a Tuesday afternoon and talk poorly about a 25 year old coach who is clearly doing great things considering his age. Move on and grow up

So he is not an adult then?

Looks a lot like the FCB Escola crazy keeping his flame war up. What fun!

WTF does FCB have to do with this?

Who cares !!

It's pre season, but VDA lost all but 1 game. Will be a tough year in ECNL. Kick off next week against BRYC

WOW. Surprised that a 04 DA team gets crushed by a brand new ECNL team like that.

Looks like Loudoun ecnl will be a promising destination..bet they will get Spirit kids in future if the path doesn't change

Good luck to Loudoun and VDA, it's a tough league

When my daughter is still on the team I think I know enough. It's nice to know who we are talking to though

By all means, you can see whatever it is you want to see.
