When you say that he does that stuff with other patients, do you mean in a harmless way (as in him being over-friendly) or in a lecherous way? I'm having a very hard time reading this or figuring out how to take this to the next level. I am MASSIVELY attracted to this man and I talked to my husband and he agreed to an open relationship since our sex life has been non-existent for several years. I would even say something direct to this man...but will die of embarrassment if I've read this wrong and he's just being a harmless flirt with no intentions of it going anywhere.

Same "Anonymous" here. I also forgot to mention that he's complimented both my personality and my actions as well as my looks. He's also asked me "how are things at home" (although I suppose this is something a doctor might ask). So...with everything I've said, do you think he is testing the waters for an affair? What would be the clearest sign?

I think someone is flirting with me in a plausibly deniable way. How do I respond without putting my cards on the table.

Second, the person flirting with me happens to be my doctor. He makes comments about my appearance and touches me a lot during every visit, but each specific item is deniable. So, he'll squeeze my shoulder two times per visit, compliment my smile, or say I always look nice, stare at me, etc. There is definitely a vibe.

I'm certain he's attracted, but I'm not certain where he wants it to go. It's maddening because I am so keen on him.

What does his behavior sound like and what should I do to make something happen? I'm afraid if I'm too subtle nothing will come of it, but if I come on strong it could be very embarrassing.

Amateur! Seriously? Any non-overweight woman can have sex with any married man alive. He's married, so by definition he is deprived sexually and will jump at the first hint of a woman showing desire for him.
