Since you’re so well-versed in history, I wonder if you know that the 2025 National Security Strategy document, released by the White House in November/December 2025 does not mention Greenland (or even the Arctic in a context relevant to it). There is no well-thought-out strategy here – – the whole issue is one of Trump‘s current obsessions. We have a one-man government and our whole foreign policy seems to be revolving around his daily whims rather than any strategic plan.
