I’m not arguing the Republican’s have the better policy argument, but have passed a clean resolution and I think it is fair to place a lot (not all) of the blame for the shutdown on the democrats who are clearly trying to use the leverage of opening the government to achieve policy objectives and fire up their base.

Plus Feds kids and spouse can work. If all five of you are sitting home doing nothing and you are expecting handouts when there is a massive labor shortage that is crazy.
