Apparently, more information is needed for the company securing Trump's bond. Is it possible Trump is being hoisted by his own petard? Ah, sweet justice, at last!

I think you're correct. So, this would mean that he tried to pull a fast one on the court and his lawyers were complicit. This has to be a felony. What a bunch of morons!

Yeah, well the State of NY and Letitia James aren’t playing around. If he can’t file correctly by the deadline, it’s the same thing as not posting a bond at all. I wonder what the State of NY would do with Trump Tower? You could house a sh*t ton of illegal immigrants there. “The Don Juan Trump homeless shelter”.

But the ten days is up on Thursday, right? But maybe he has until cob?

FWIW, NY has the most ridiculous (in a negative way) requirements and unhelpful clerks. They bounce every filing for some little thing.

So you're saying that failure to provide a financial statement and POA are "some little thing"?

Well, first, three things. And these aren’t being bounced because the type is 11 point instead of 12 point of some wording is messed up. This was bounced for no financial disclosure form or POA. Which is a bigly screwup. Especially in a case the was primarily based on— fail8ng to file accurate financial disclosure forms.

My guess is that Trump wasn’t to falsify those too and is having it out with his lawyers, who are looking at Cohen, Gillian, Sydney Powell and John Eastman and saying “”oh he11 no”. Attorneys have to attest to the accuracy of filings.

Raise your hand if you’d put your law license on the line and attest to the veracity of Trump’s financial isclosure forms with giving them a millimeter by millimeter colonoscopy?

I also bet there is no POA because no one who likes their law license is willing to take that on.

There is idiotic (walk six feet to) very idiotic (walk six feet to) incredibly idiotic and (walk a million miles to)— not properly filing correct financial disclosure forms after you are fined *HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS* for— not filing correct financial disclosure forms. I mean… WOW! The stupidity of this move is mind blowing. And not likely to help him on appeal. Talk about a pattern and practice.

If this is the case then I would hope that Trump would be have to put up the full half a billion. If he can't, then DA starts seizing his assets.

OPPS

Court rejected TrumpBond filing in Trump Fraud Verdict for several reasons, 1. of which was Trump failed to upload his "current financial statement" to the Court [looking forward to read].
175 million reasons why 1 mistake should not have been made, much less 3 !

So the whole thing about how no company will do a bond for over $100 million was a lie?

That he had the cash was also a lie.

So Trump couldn't come up with the money and had to get a company who does risky specialty bonds to take him on?

Pretty much. Hankey is a guy that does predatory loans. For example, he makes high-interest auto loans to service members and then illegally re-possesses the vehicles. That's how Trump rolls after all.

"That’s all a part of the game to Hankey, who carved out his $7.4 billion fortune through those kinds of predatory practices, targeting low-income customers with high-interest auto loans."

https://newrepublic.com/post/180425/trump-civil-fraud-bond-backer-even-shadier

In this case, Hankey is targeting a low-asset customer with a high-interest loan for a bond.
