Two different sanctioning bodies. ECNL and its non compete amongst itself is only for ECNL, pretty sure it's vice versa with GA. Unsure if GA even has any stipulations regarding tryouts and player movement between clubs like ECNL does.
Although I have heard of players joining one ECNL club and then joining another mid season. Imagine paying two clubs in a single 10 month season, but it IS northern VA with lots of disposable income.
