The other problem with this theory is that CB was still alive when she went to the hospital, so it's extremely unlikely he stabbed her in the middle of the night or whatever...
I remember when it happened, a nurse who was working at that day, mentioned that the woman (CB), arrived at the hospital without any vitals already. Because the stabbing was horrific and she had lost a lot of blood

In that video, its clear they are coming for him. LE specifically mentions the little girl and how tragic this all is.
From the first press conference he has seemed personally very committed to the case. And very skeptical of BB. I remember someone asking if BB had spoken with LE and his response that they wish he would.
And for the people in the back still thinking Joe harmed anyone, he's not planning to hold someone dead "accountable." Only one other adult was there.
Day 1 they said that those 2 were "present and involved." The language was very direct, surprisingly so.
I'm sure it was helpful that Joes friends and loved ones were in touch so quickly, The electronics and sense of the backstory were probably very useful in framing the investigation. For all those posting here, and for Christine's friends, fwiw, I'm very sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing the memories and giving us all a sense of the good people Christine and Joe were and how many cared about them. They mattered.

Most of the women who end up dead or abused in their marriages had pretty pictures and optimistic hopes for what their future would turn out to be. Then things got complicated when "he" wanted X activities, or the finances were a mess, or the kids were stressing them,.... etc. Things can look pretty from the outside, and not be so nice on the inside.

Christine was middle aged, an equal, into fitness and positivity.
The au pair was like dating a teen. Was this all midlife crisis?
If they had stayed on LI, near family, would he never have gone off the rails? How could someone be capable of doing that then just go on, riding bike around neighborhood and tooling around in his new car and taking his girlfriend and her "assets" out to eat like Christine and Joe never existed?
I don't mean this personally, but this is something people tell themselves to ward off the thought that it could ever happen to them. Maybe Christine had an idea. Maybe she didn't. Maybe she was doing what she could to hold the family together for her daughter.
I agree. It is beyond chilling to think about this and to think monsters in human form walk among us. And no matter how much love or care you may show someone, they may have nothing but contempt and dehumanizing thoughts for you. I just wonder if they had been surrounded by her LE family if someone may have picked up something, a vibe. Little tells that he may be dangerous. Many draw to those professions do turn out to be dangerous to women, some prove the stereotypes true. I just wish the victims were still with us, it is all to sad and pointless and that little girl may barely remember her mom and will have huge attachment issues and trauma.

Sigh, I found the part about her saying how great it is that au pairs come into your home and family and may "change your life" meaning in a + sense ironic because Juliana was part of ENDING Christine's life. Like, had she not come to live with them, Christine, not to mention poor Joe, would be alive tonight. That's all. You may disagree that her post is ironic.
I'm sure the other au pairs they have had are lovely humans. Most people are not cold blooded killers.
My point wasn't about becoming friends, although Juliana, for all her IG posts, did not seem to figure on Christine's.

It’s hard to imagine, but the official designation of “alive” can be pretty broad. The reason why doctors take a long time to declare someone dead is because any electrical activity of the heart, any agonal breath, any murmur of a pulse is classified as “alive”. When paramedics arrive, they instantly go into advanced life saving mode - they intubate, push meds, shock - everything. They bag the patient on the way to the hospital and shock as needed to give them every chance. I have no idea what happened at the scene, but it’s not an uncommon scenario for emts to successfully resuscitate someone and get them to the hospital when they have really no chance of surviving much longer. If you take a look at other accident reports, many of them say they the patient was evac’d but died in hospital.

All they said is that she was declared deceased at the hospital. That doesn't mean she was conscious when 911 arrived.

Also, it’s harder to tell when someone is deceased than you think. Md’s are taught to take at least 60 sec to check for pulse, breathing etc, but I always checked for at least 5 min because that is not something you ever want to be wrong about. They might have though she was gone and she wasn’t.
