Keep it up, Alexandra. It’s ok to be hungry. It’s just a feeling. Agree that exercise is critical. Wish I felt better

Sorry Kate! Take care of yourself. Sounds like you are focusing on what is most important

I had a terrible couple of days at the end of my travel last week and felt really down. I’ve been really really strict the last two days and my weight is back on track. Some days I am not sure I’m eating enough, to be honest. So many of the quick things I would typically grab just don’t work in my points (and have sugar)! So i just don’t eat and then I’m ravenous or get a headache. Not good- I really want this to be sustainable. Will try to make sure I exercise today- that has been hard the past couple of days.

I’ve lost 10 pounds. And I have so much more energy!!

Before I stopped the sugar, I would be so tired after having sugar.

Cravings went away after the 3rd day.

Good luck everyone!!!

I am going to try this too with sugar - once step at a time , first for 3 days then go longer.

Did well yesterday. I did have a muffin but it was probably under 25 g of sugar. I did not overeat. I had a good jog and lifted. I bought healthy food for the week. I am scared to get on the scale but I think I’m OK there too.

Here’s to another good day!

What is it about being away from home and feeling like we deserve all the treats!!?? I get it.

Ok, yesterday I actually ate less than 25g of sugar. Probably for the the first time in months. I really suck at this! But here is the morning and another chance to do it again. I know I feel better when I do.

Safe travels and good luck today!

Fall 9 times and get up 10 right? You can do it Kate. I’m away from home and struggling to not eat all the treats that seem so special- as if we don’t have cookies back in the DMV. Doing ok but it’s HARD

Sending you all the encouragement. I think carbs are also easier to just grab and eat and we are all exhausted with our lives. You are amazing.

Thank you! It has been a lot of work. But seeing some results is really motivating. Ideally I’d lose 25 total but I’ll be thrilled with 20. I can only give so much energy to my diet so I want to land somewhere sustainable. We shall see!

Interestingly it’s not the sugar that’s been the hardest it’s CARBs and salt. Maybe I’ve finally cured my sweet tooth? Idk. It’s still hardest when I get too hungry. But making sure I’ve got really healthy food on hand takes time and energy. I’m fighting a cold I got from my son so I think I’m feeling especially low on energy. Trying hard to stay strong though…

At least it’s the weekend!

How’s is going? It sounds like you must have lost weight if you’ve stuck to this for six weeks. Impressive. Carbs are not all bad? What’s tripping you up?

Hey! I’m two months in now and have lost 9.5 lbs. I’m very very happy because I’ve never really been successful at losing weight and have been up about 20 lbs since my youngest was born. I’m kind of amazed how well WW is working for me. You absolutely can eat carbs but not a ton because they all have significant points and when I’m tired or sick I just want carbs and sugar. The hardest thing is well all the things that are always hard about losing weight! My kids eat tons of carbs and one is underweight and needs high calorie foods so making sure he has what he needs but I also have the protein and vegetables I need to stay in my points allowance without starving is a lot of work. I am hungry sometimes. I have had two days I did some emotional eating. It’s a great plan but takes a lot of effort to stick with.

Hey Kate I’m sorry things have been hard lately and you hate your job. I had a day last week I hated my job but luckily that’s pretty unusual for me.

Good for you for renewing your efforts to eat healthier! Never too late.
