Objectively she looks good and she has the figure to wear this outfit. Subjectively, girl, you are 54 years old. If you are going to wear this it should be to a concert. That's the only possible venue I can think of where this looks appropriate. There really is something to be said for a less is more approach at a certain age, especially i a professional setting.
She shouldn’t wear this outfit anywhere. Her knees are disgusting. Just be honest and accept if you live long enough, you age and just because you can still get into your high school skirts, it doesn’t mean you should wear that skirt thirty-five years later.
I am kind of pissed at this poster for making me defend Megyn Kelly. But no, I don’t want to live in a world where we say normal aging is unsightly and should be kept hidden from view. Hide your knees if you wish but I am more than okay with aging knees on display.
Aging knees are ok if you are taking the grandkids to Disney not meeting the president. Actually I take it back no one needs to wear a miniskirt getup to meet with the president, young or old. You would think conservatives would know this.

Where is she going in this getup?

Objectively I like the suit on her and I actually think that color works for her.
On the other hand...why are we photographing ourself posing in a suit for funsies? Are we going somewhere or are we just taking pics for the sake of posting on IG.
Ivanka has that slightly cringy older millennial social media presence that a lot of celebrity women in their late 30s/early 40s have. I like Meghan Markle and Taylor Swift but they have similar vibes on social media. Though Meghan is hawking her candles and Taylor is hawking her albums so they have reason to. Ivanka posts this kind of drivel for...what exactly.
She poses in outfits regularly on instagram. I check the account when this thread drifts into terminal boredom or Usha arguments. She treats it like a fashion magazine featuring only her. I'm sure she'd love to be in demand enough to really HAVE her own eponymous glossy magazine but that's never going to happen so this is the next best thing. It's 60% her "modeling" poses, 20% family, and 20% misty photos of herself (once her daughter seen from the back walking through a meadow in a long white dress) reflecting on something, like she's making an inspirational poster to put on a wall.
You need to do a public service and post her instagram pics (I don’t know how).
Her Florida vacation wear outfits are her best outfits.
