Where will they be residing?

PIW on Wisconsin. There are a few places they will probably stop through, but they will spend the majority of their time in the upper NW at PIW. Tenleytown will make them crazy for sure.

No juvenile plea deal can guarantee where they will be placed. They can be committed to the juvenile justice agency up until age 21, but that agency decides where they will be placed, the prosecutor and judge have no control over where the agency puts them. They will not be at PIW until they are 21. They will likely go to a juvenile detention facility for a year or 2 and then start to be transitioned back into the community.

So murderers in treatment centers with depressed teens.

Makes all the parents that have to make the choice of sending their mentally fragile teen for treatment an even easier decision now right.

If they are indeed serving their time in PIW, this is how they are serving, guys, just FYI.

So basically, they can't hang out with their thug friends. I'm sure the setting is lovely and they'll probably go on all kinds of fun outings. Sounds soul crushing. Way to go, DC.

Yes but I also agree with the social worker who posted about section 8 people - BC needs to be VERY easily accessible. Lack of planning capabilities, poor impulse control - many people won’t go and renew prescriptions or fill out paperwork.

Are you going to force people to use it? Are we going to place social workers in every bedroom?

No forcing. But make it easy, as easy as possible. And no incentives for having kids.
