Vassar looks beautiful but I haven’t been there. Love any campus with old buildings.

I really wonder if these people have been to many universities. DH went to Yale and I also thought New Haven and the Yale campus was a pretty awful place.

Architecturally, Yale is extraordinary and it is also beautiful. I'd say the best of the Ivy schools along with Princeton.

Within the Ivy League, I'd say

#1 - Yale/Princeton
#3 - Dartmouth
#4 - Cornell
#5 - Columbia
#6 - Harvard
#7 - Brown
#8 - Penn

The oak tree lined paths are so lovely. The Rice campus gives a truly intimate feel without feeling cramped.

Syracuse at #1? I think not. The building they show in the picture is the only attractive thing on that campus.

And Penn #2? I've seen all the Ivy League schools and, although it has some nice buildings, I would rate it near the bottom.

I agree with the poster that cited Colorado. Others that left an impression on me over the years include Princeton, Yale, Vassar, West Point, William and Mary, Stanford, Indiana, Notre Dame, Middlebury, and Mount Holyoke. Oxford and particularly Cambridge in the UK come to mind.

100% agree. What a great description, too!

It is nice. CNU is developing a very nice campus as well. Richmond, W&L, and Sweet Briar are very nice privates. (Not sure how Sweet Briar campus has fared since their financial issues.)

Designed by the same architect and share some building names https://zsr.wfu.edu/2021/a-tale-of-two-campuses-how-was-the-second-one-built/

I went to Wake but I applied to both

Midwest has my vote: Miami of Ohio, Oxford. Beautiful. Perfect college town. Notre Dame- great set up.
