Don't know about the "fig" or the "dog". I definitely won't be judging if the dog is not with the uncle. For all we know they have a dog that doesn't get along with his dog cousin or they could have young kids fearful of dogs or allergies. There is someone on here well connected in the shelter and rescue community who can probably find out where the dog is.
