He may have legally owned a gun, but lawful gun owners do not "tussle" with law enforcement.
So, he was not so "lawful."
Do most people who carry also have two magazines with them?

His response to them shoving two women was to a) help the women and b) put himself between them and the agents WITH HIS HANDS UP.
At no point does he reach for his gun.
What gun? According to people in this thread, he did not have one. Which is it?
No one's said he never had a gun. He had a gun that was bolstered that he never once touched or reached for. He was shot repeatedly in the back after the agents had taken this gun. His gun was never a threat to them.

The were no allegation that he had brandished the weapon or that he even had it on him for that matter. More news may come out about this, but that's what is available now,
Remember that DHS routinely lies.

We don't have to. ICE is but a few thousand thugs.
Get your guns while you still can. Train to use them if you don't already know how. Start open carrying when ICE comes to town -- in most places this is allowed with long guns, but even some states allow handguns to be openly carried.
Be prepared to use them when necessary.
This is a terrible idea.
Are you a second amendment defender/gun promoter?
Do not get a gun. Get your congress folk to defund ICE. Now. Get these thugs off the street and into jail where they belong.
They are the Gestapo.

Being armed is not a crime, and certainly not justification for summary execution.
Suspect also had 2 magazines for the handgun.
So what?
The ICE shooters are the suspects here, you moron/troll/bot. No self-respecting American would condone this.
The PP was saying "so what?" to the preceding comment: "Suspect also had 2 magazines for the handgun."

Trump and Noem are bringing this nation dangerously close to civil war.
Congress needs a capable man to step up and be the leader this nation needs right now.
Not a Progressive stuttering nonsensical jargon nobody takes seriously outside of echo chambers. Not a vicious ultra right nut gaslighting what is happening in Minneapolis.
We need someone like Obama to step forward and quietly take hold of the reins on this runaway horse.
We need someone who has served this nation as a veteran because he will have everyone's respect. Someone capable of leading.

I think I see the new talking points to defend the ICE murder of this man.
They are going to say it was a mistake but justifiable self-defense. Someone yelled "gun gun!!" and an agent thought his life was in danger and so shot the victim in self defense.
One of the agents, took the gun before the guy was beaten and shot. There i literally NO justification for what happened.
Here is a synced up, two angle video: https://bsky.app/profile/dominicervolina.com/post/3md6wetpavk2q
And yet Republican politicians continue to justify it. I've come to believe there is literally nothing that will lead them to say anything different.
But why are they compelled to do this? Is it fear? Peer pressure? Just stupidity?
Mediocre white men tend to take a position and stick with it regardless of how many facts you throw at them. Normally it’s about confidence in their own greatness, but they will also project onto a fellow mediocre white man. It’s quite something to behold.

The only person I can think of is Mark Kelly. We need a real leader ASAP.
The guy from CT is also good. Murphy??
I just know it’s not Schumer or Jeffries. They need to go. I also don’t think we need a showboat either (Newsom). Someone responsible and well spoken with integrity and is also able to withstand the pressure.
