I think this guy got it wrong. Musk is right that you can’t come in and claim that you’re going to cut waste, balance the budget and produce a bill that adds two trillion dollars to the deficit. Musk did a miserable job at DOGE. He was placed as head of doge to pay back the money given to Trump. He’s not really American and knows nothing about how the American government runs. He dangerously cut programs that will devastate part of the country. Both incompetent and are not some kind of dream team.

I’m not buying it. Musk doesn’t care about the deficit. Trump has not changed tactics this was always the plan. Doge was very successful about the real goal of kneecapping regulators and slurping up data.

This is just Musk trying to distance himself from Trump because he doesn’t need him, not because of the BBB, to help Tesla sales. I concede maybe Trump isn’t in on the joke? So perhaps that part is real, but it’s not some big idealogical schism.

Here we go again

Musk's Starlink poses a threat to national security, White House officials say.

❗️The White House's Starlink satellite communications system bypassed controls designed to prevent information leaks and hacking attacks, - The Washington Post.

No. This is not four dimensional chess. These are two rich megalomaniacs who act impulsively and destructively in everything they do. While this falling out was probably inevitable, it was not pre-planned.

Also, there’s no way this bill is ever going to reduce the deficit.

Yep. One of them has admitted to peeing himself because of his drug use. There is nothing 4D about this circus.

What a winning bromance. One urinates on himself, and the other one defecates on himself.

Could you imagine is James Carville did this to Clinton? How would the MSM cover that? Not like this.

Pretty much what Ken Star did.

Sorry Elon, you need to go, but the US government will take SpaceX and Starlink on the way out.

lol twitter is much more powerful vs Trump and the republicans. You people really do not understand the power Musk and other tech kings have to shape the narrative. Fox is only a repeater station. Without the tech bros Trump loses a lot of influence. He only has the white nationalists and right wing Jews alliance. Trump hate of Bibi is showing and the pro Israeli are really worried.

Let’s see what happens when you “take” spaceX and starlink. Think Google, meta, etc are going to be okay with that?

Musk can crush any congressman or senator in real time and that is before he unleashes a few million in a primary attack. Hell X is worth a million dollars in any republican primary and if X is actively working against your primary campaign you are done!

Did you see the response to Steven Miller tweet?

Will he smell like urine doing it?

The drugs side effect is blood in the urine. Not that he has to urinate more frequently or uncontrollably.

The clinical syndrome associated with chronic usage includes a small, very painful bladder, frequency, incontinence, haematuria, upper tract obstruction and papillary necrosis.

All it takes is one person in the court to say the emperor has no clothes.

Hope Trump picks out a few Republican congressmen and unseats them.

No, but we’re all just used to those two acting like that at any time. And this blowup was totally completely predictable.

Eh we know how this ends. TACO.

Never voted for Trump but this TACO thing is an extremely unfunny, peak Boomer cringey Dad joke. Stuff like this is why people think Democrats are lame. It’s Tim Walz and “Real Men Vote for a Woman” commercials all over again.

I bet you were very upset when Trump kept saying Crooked Hillary, Sleepy Joe, and Little Marco.

NP. Trump's nicknames were funny. You can't just start repeating some foolishness. You have to be funny. The funny is what Democrats are always missing. Is it really that hard?

Really? You think they were funny? No. They weren’t. They were incredibly lame. Sleepy Joe? Coming from someone who has repeatedly been caught on camera falling asleep in meetings and even at his own trial? Come on now. Crooked Hillary, Fat Alvin,
Lyin Ted, Low Energy Jeb, Sloppy Steve - notice how every adjective he chooses irrefutably describes him? That’s classic bully behavior.

I teach 5th grade and would never sit back and laugh when my students behave this way. Why do we have lower behavior expectations for the president than our children? I teach them about civil discourse. I wish they had a potus they could look to as an exemplary example of this.

PP here. Yes, Trump is 300% a bullying sociopath whom no one should vote for. Unfortunately, that has a little bearing on the fact that he brought insult comedy to politics and it was hilarious. He's snappy with the nicknames and comebacks. Democrats aren't. That doesn't mean I'm saying he's a better person than the Democrats he beat. I am just pointing out the disparity in funny. You can either get funny (unlikely) or you need to find a different way to attack him.

I don't know why this is so hard for some of you to understand. Maybe you need to get your software updated.

Ok, let’s just agree to disagree on what is funny. I think Obama is freaking hilarious, witty, and clever. Trump just puts a lame adjective before someone’s name. Hard to believe anyone is cracking up over that. He has the vocabulary and wit if a nine year old.

You think the 70 Million people who voted for Trump are smarter than that? Really?

Anonymous wrote:The frustrating thing is that Elon is absolutely correct in his diagnosis: the US debt is unsustainable and Trumps BBB makes it that much more disastrous. But of course his prescription of slashing spending on the social safety net is equally disasterous, and will put the US standard of living on par with Argentina. The solution is to raise taxes back to where they were under Ronald Reagan and George HW Bush, and preserve the level of social services we had then. But only Democrats are advocating for that sensible option.

Agree - America prospered, built infrastructure, educated, took care of those who needed it when we had fair taxation on corporations and the rich.
