It really doesn't matter how progressive or centrist a candidate is. The liberals will think the centrist are basically Republicans and MAGA will call everyone- centrist or progressive a communist extremist. We just need to get MAGA out.

I wouldn't vote for Newsom in the primary but if he ends up in the general, I will. Biden wasn't exactly popular when he ran, he was just the safe white man... I think it'll be the same again.
