It’s not just the AI guys. The donor class is much less ideological and partisan than the useful idiot upper middle class. There’s a lot of bipartisan alignment behind the scenes. A decision has been made to roll with the Republicans for a while and to roll back some of the Democratic Party excesses. The Fortune 500 is dropping DEI. The government is firing bureaucrats and cutting off NGO funding. The donors are okay with this. In a way, they commanded it. Democrats are the designated losers for a while. You saw it with Kamala—she was obviously put there to lose. A sovereign political party that wanted to win would have held a real primary. They didn’t. Why? Fear of Dr. Jill? No. Anyway, Dems are out of power now, and they’ll be kept out for several more cycles. Some ambitious and impatient politicians will change teams.

I don’t think that is what happened. Russia, trump, musk and the right aligned. Bezos and Zuckerberg are going along to keep their businesses in check. Once twitter was taken over, it was done.
But truly, every other commercial on radio and TV is AI oriented. They all want THEIR AI to take over. The issue is that they don’t understand the needs to people and are writing us out of the program because they don’t even understand or take drugs to mask basic human emotion.

So here we are fighting for our rights while they are fighting for AI Prowess.

Do Democrats regret any of the affirmative action/DEI stuff? It seems like we pushed too far for the liking of corporate America. So much so that many appear to have thrown their support to the Republicans. Many CEOs seem relieved to be able to promote white folks again when they are most qualified. Look at Bezos, Zuckerberg, Marc Andreeson, Jamie Dimon. What do these guys know that we don’t know? And what does the shift of corporate support away from Democrats and toward Republicans augur for the next 4 or 5 elections? We really needed all the corporate support we got in 2020. The uniparty has decided to use Republucans for the next 15 years or so

Anyone who thinks there are two political parties is not paying close attention. The uniparty is thriving and will emerge unscathed.

My kids’ have an over-the-top flamboyant gay math teacher who says whatever pops into his head. The kids like it.

It’s not enough for LGBTQIA+ folks to not be discriminated against. They have to be celebrated. Any shame they feel must be transformed into pride. This is a long-term project, and it requires exposing the children to gay and trans preferences as early as possible.
