How would I know if our team has a manager? I looked on the website but the list is from last year.

We have a great team manager and coach who both communicate. I would be very frustrated if we did not. I have four kids, I need info ASAP.

Our TM said many of the teams including ours would be playing in friendly games VS Sterling teams on Sat Aug 9, which I think is great. (Less great if your team isn't playing I guess). And we heard weeks ago that we would be playing in the Dulles tournament.

Last fall, the same level/age team for my dc played in the Loudoun Premier Cup and Dulles tournament.

This year, the team does not seem to be signed up for either so not sure what is going on.

they said they would announce the tournament schedule next week, so you should find out soon. i'm sure its kind of annoying not knowing. we have a great TM and the same coach as last season and have been hearing from them.

They didn’t have a 2012 girls team last year, did they just put one together?


+1. There is a 2009,2011,2013 team, no 2010 or 2012s.

They didn’t have a 2012 girls team last year, did they just put one together?

That's why some people -likely those teams with managers and returning coaches--are like "what are you whingers complaining about?" and some people haven't met the coach or heard a thing since last April tryouts.


They centralized payments and management in 2021 and have been bumbling around since then with little organizational skills or management ability. We're well past the point where they've had enough time to work out the bugs.

Were you told if your team was combining with Sterling? There's a 2012 Sterling "orange" girls team on the Dulles tournament schedule but no Herndon team.

Better luck at your new club! Regardless of sport, club, school or camp someone is unhappy and communication is a common blame.

He took a new role this year. He joined HYS last year.

In our experience, practice schedules have stayed the same (even year over year) and club night has always been optional (but encouraged).
