People with regular lives marry, have children, some with special needs, family illnesses and deaths, stressful or boring or underpaying jobs, career changes, relocations, money problems etc. etc. But that’s regular people. She clearly leads an extraordinary life and doesn’t have to deal with any of that day to day. Good for her! I honestly would much rather be dating the hottest men in the world, partying with stars and writing poetry till 2am than dealing with the above mentioned mundane stuff…for the rest of my life if I could![]()
She's clearly not happy with her "extraordinary" life.
I feel badly for her. She's in her mid 30's and stuck in a high school, perpetual victim mentality.

I basically grew up with Taylor Swift's music. She's 34 and I'm 33. She's from Nashville and I grew up in Franklin, TN (~30 mins away). I went to several of her shows way back when after her debut album came out. I've been to all the tours. I'm a fan, etc, etc.
But the Easter eggs are getting to be too much to keep up with. I also wish she'd stop singing about high school or relating things back to high school. HS for her has been over for 25 years. It's time to move on.
Nope, I'm 44 and love them b/c I can discuss with my teen... makes for fun conversations.
I guess you don't get the point of "So High School". Also, unless she was 8 at graduation, she did not finish HS 25 years ago lol.
Preteens or younger. Teens don't listen to Taylor.

The line about my husband is cheating must be about Joe, but I think it's interesting she conjured up an affair between two neighbors. Love ThanK You aIMee. Hope she has a stadium full of 30,000 people singing that to KK.
It’s not about anybody specific nor is Florida.
Fortnight is all about Matt Healy. She basically spells it out in the video.
No it’s generally about breakups
Then why did she make the video almost identical to 1975 vid?
Fortnight is 100% about Matty. There are many references. I like the 1975s, have seen some of their videos over the years and saw a lot of clues in her lyrics and that video that refer to him.
Most of the album is abt MH. Fans theorize that she even wrote Alchemy about him and the time she performed AntiHero at his band’s concert where he referred to her as “queen”. Then she quickly changed a few lines this year before releasing the album and added references to touchdowns so it’s not totally obvious how little Kelce matters to her.
If Matty wanted her back tomorrow, she would probably go to him. In her own lyrics, “imgonnangetyouback” and I choose you, “religiously.”
