He's not presenting himself as some shy, naive, "gosh I don't know how people work!" ingenue. And it makes more sense as the main character than as a side role.

Her choices are both delivery and inconsistent. That's fine -- a lot of people are like that. It's just telling as to her character.

Some of you are being far too hard on Theresa. She's 70 years old and has dated *one man* prior to Gerry. I can't imagine reentering the dating pool at that point. She probably does feel giddy as a schoolgirl, and they did have what looked like a terrific date. I don't see how her talking about it was all that different than, say, Faith gushing about the helicopter and hot tub experience. Her mistake was thinking she could chatter about it to Kathy and the others like she would to her sisters. And we all know Kathy would have been fine with it if she hadn't believed T was the frontrunner at that point. I do think it was more clueless than manipulative per se. I find T very boring, including her social media posts, it she seems like a perfectly nice person and engages very kindly with her "fans." Gerry seems torn between wanting someone to go to church with him and make him meatballs (one interview) and someone who is high-energy, athletic, and adventurous. I think he could probably go either way in the end, but it might be a tough choice because it's essentially choosing one particular path forward.

I’m really disappointed by the whole show. I was hoping they’d show some experienced, mature people looking to meet a companion or maybe make some friends to travel with. Instead, the producers used the same, boring formula with older, grayed, wrinkled bodies. This has the depth of a melted popsicle. I’m done with any variation of the Bachelor.

Faith seems more stable and balanced than either of the other two women. I know she's been knocked -- unfairly, I think -- for her rough start in life, but she's not as peculiar as Theresa or Leslie.

Spoilers don't indicate this, but maybe she changes her mind about the horse thing. We'll see.

Agree. I was on TeamTheresa but I see this too.

Theresa isn’t exactly low energy, although she’s not an ATV type. I’m not sure I could see her at a Cubs game, although I’m not sure I could see Leslie getting excited about that either. And Leslie is pretty far away too.

It might come down to who’s willing to move-including whether he’s willing to move for one of them. And although Faith spontaneously said she wouldn’t move, we haven’t seen anybody else answer that question yet.

Leslie has Insta posts about attending Twins games with her grandkids all dressed up in merch.
