Yep, he's going to get charged with violating campaign finance laws by making fraudulent disclosures. I really can't believe McCarthy isn't getting ahead of this. Kicking Swalwell and Schiff off Intel while handing committee assignments to this obvious fraudster and criminal is a really bad look.

I read there is a suspicion his campaign forged the signature of its purported treasurer.

Can the Senate Ethics Committee hold House members accountable? Can individual House members refer others to DoJ for investigation? Maybe they should?

I don’t think a congressional committee can make the determination that someone has broken the law. I think only a judge or a jury can do that.
