Actually I was thinking it could be the explanation. Her/his kid took WISC, but the result was very disappointing.
Hence extreme hostility toward the test, and appealing with the test.

Until the child that is admitted on appeal is the 32nd kid in the class, so it adds a fourth class reducing the size to 25

Oh just ignore 15:18. Someone pointed out yesterday that her game likely is to try to deter people from appealing so as to keep 15:18's DC's class size smaller, and this most recent email from her just proves this is the case.

I'm impressed by all the very high WISC scores here - I'd think that's a great peer group, even by 15:18's standards.

PP Appealing is very much LEGITIMATE standard procedure set forth by the AAP Central Committee.

Portfolio can be done by providing above level work samples, videos, projects etc, anything that shows the kids' out-there abilities.

Since you've already had qualifying IQ scores and Davidson application is free, there is no harm at least to try. All it takes is time to compile documents and fill out the form.

PP What is a portfolio? what are the advantages of davidson? do you have kid who is a young scholor?

For those kids whose WISC IV have +145 scores(one or more from VCI, PRI, GAI or FSIQ), I would encourage them to apply for Davidson's Young Scholars program. You can do so either through achievement testing (+145 broad scores on WJ-III Ach or +145 total scores on WIAT-II or III) . Without achievement testing results, a portfolio along with IQ testing may still work.
