Coincidentally Sporting City has been demoted to Aspire. Leaves Union and Legends as only GA clubs…. Can see Legends becoming a regional power if this allows them to retain players.
KC, Missouri... seriously who care what happens outside two coasts. With US soccer moving to ATL from CHI say its all. Midwest zzzzzzzz......
East Coast clubs can't compete top to bottom with Midwest.
What? I could possibly give you top, but top to bottom no way. There are some BAD MW teams.

More to come, based upon the promotions in NJ, MI, OR I’m highly predicting NJ team (SJEB or STA - strongly feel it’s STA) and a Midwest/mid America team (Indy Premier or Columbus United - Indy Premier would be a big loss). Outlier could be someone from PacNW Spokane Shadow? I wouldn’t say dominant is the word for any of these teams but Indy Premier as initially reported, but all had a team at Champions Cup.
It seems clear they want to target teams for ECNL only and I think step 2 will be press on current members with MLS Next.

That clearly wasn’t even a defection; it was a demotion.
