So it seems like the White House installed the 14 day guidelines with the goal of being able to "open up" around May 1st, and when the numbers coming back didn't support that, they figured that it was fine to ignore the guidelines. Well...I guess its a wrap!

The death spigot will be turned off in a few weeks, woo hoo!

And, like most people sixty and up aren't still having to go to work. Unlike other first world countries, the US is not replacing much lost income and the majority of people can't afford to retire until they are almost 70.

It's shocking to see how many people are totally unphased by people dying if they're moderately old. Look at how many people who want to open up talk about how it most effects people sixty five and up, like a sixty five year old doesn't average another twenty years of life.

My mother died of cancer last year. She was 85. I was sad. If she didn't get cancer, or if we had caught it a little earlier, she could have lived another ten years like some of her relatives did.

Now you pick your favorite elderly relative, shoot them, and argue it wasn't murder because they were 90. NINETY!! That's how you sound when you use Covid the same way.

The IHME model changed from 60/75,000 to include reopenings and is now at 135,000. Just because we couldn't wait another couple weeks.
