I found 07 girls rankings for the board from the PP's website. Confirmed as follows:
Region I RANKINGS for 2007s at GDA/ECNL clubs in NoVA
8. Loudoun (ECNL)
26. McLean (ECNL)
102. Arlington (GDA)
110. BRYC (ECNL)
154. FCV (GDA)
N/A. W. Spirit (Great Falls not a substitute)
Link?
Please go to Youth Soccer Rankings website and search 2007 girls for Region I. Then read down the list of NoVA teams. Loudoun's B team is higher then Arlington and the rest.

The problem with using GotSoccer is it mostly only tracks tourneys and the carryover of points in the fall can be very misleading depending on a teams tournament schedule. This can inflate a clubs ranking or deflate.
Youth Soccer rankings tends to look at more info including league standings when available.
exactly
and that's why I did not use them and instead used the REGION I Youth Soccer rankings, a better indicator of how these teams play

Just FYI, Great Falls is a direct feeder for WS now. Their 13U group practices with the Spirit 13U group on occasion.

So two of WS affiliate/partner clubs are top ten quality teams and they border a top 5 team in McLean.
FCV is no slouch and border a top 5 team as well.
Arlington, while not ranked in GotSoccer i refuse to believe is anything less than a top ten team in their own right.
What this points to, is depending on where the Loudoun or McLean kids end up playing, a much tighter DA in the region than has been on display with the current age groups.

Agree.
in Virginia FCV 07s will stay for DA. They are ranked 154 in region 1, but a better team then that. The 2 big power clubs with very strong 07 girls are Loudoun (ranked #8) and Mclean (#26), but they are the ECNL, so any DA shift may not occur unless say top 3-5 at each club defect. The other 2 DAs, WS and arlington (#102) are either non-existent or a weaker group, so if everyone stays home, it will all be spread out and diluted again with 2 strong ECNL clubs at that age . . . . . Loudoun + Mclean.
braddock (#110) is the ECNL but probably lower on chain.
All speculation but a lot may be about the DAs trying to get commits before the ECNLdoes . . . . . why doesn't the ECNL change that approch and go earlier?

This is funny. Here are the rankings according to Youth Soccer Rankings:
https://youthsoccerrankings.us/rankings/VA/12/Girls/
1. Loudoun
2. McLean
5. Arlington
11. Gunston
12. Great Falls
16. FCV
if you haven't seen all these teams play, and you check out rankings, my region 1 rankings from that SAME website of yours will tell you a lot more about the strength of those clubs age groups then where they are in virginia.
you don't only play VA teams at jeff cup
Best is to watch them play of course.
