You are wrong! It happens and has happened to my personal knowledge and it will not be found out as long as one takes a few precautions and most important: the two parties to the affair don't share that information with anyone else.

He's not paying for sex. He's paying for a relationship dynamic that is different from what he has at home. I am the NP from a few pages back who was in a near-identical relationship. I didn't really put it together till years into our relationship. She still had plenty of nice things, a big house, help, vacations, etc., but he would use all of that as leverage against her. If she wanted to know where he was going or questioned him about something, she was an ungrateful bitch who needed to spend less time questioning him and more time trying to make him happy. Eventually he began to treat me the same way. The whole situation was gross, but I will never be with an emotionally abusive person again in the future. As far as I know, the wife is still trading her soul for horses and St. John suits. There's nothing quite like his and her STD testing before your 25th anniversary trip to Nevis!
