How long do the parents hold on to their kid being the "top/best/elite/pre-MLS/pre-ECNL/Pre-anything" at age 9?
Your kid still pees his pants at night when when he gets upset.

The only thing ELITE is how you're drinking the coolaid and paying more $ to get your badge to be on that "top" team.

So yes, a little voice of someone who has no idea what's going on. No one is leaving GFR or McLean to form a top team in any age group.
