I am a rec coach and need some clarification. Their website says "No guest players" but this is listed as a Rec all-star tourney.
Are we allowed to combine rec teams from the same group or not?

How many people and how many kids? Are these just complaints from those few people on this board?
Which year are you referring to? We did Fiesta in 2023 and the medals were nice and sturdy, not plastic
A few months ago a bunch of rec parents showed up here--I believe in this very thread although I am too lazy to actually look. Feel free to read through it if you are curious. Or search for 'sombrero'.
Anyway they showed up here specifically to complain about how bad this event was. It was memorable really as usually it’s just club parents who post on here. Rec parents don't really complain or post here at all so they must have all independently googled valor tournament complaints or something and ended up here. It was a lot of complaints for such a tiny tournament. For instance there was a story about medals breaking as the coaches passed them out and Valor refused to give them any extras. And there was a parent whose kids cya rec team had not won an SFL game all year that cya put in this tournament to play against all star teams to try to juice up Valor's participation numbers. They lost a game like 20-0. CYA had lied and told the coachit was just an end of the year SFL tournament and the parents and coach didn't know it was an all star tournament until the schedule was sent. Then there was something about not enough teams and a team of middle school boys playing a team of high school seniors. It was a lot of complaints.
Funny how you keep commenting, yet you weren’t even there and just use anonymous posters (that could be 3 people all together) as your examples 🤣
Having an opinion about something you know nothing about. Classic
Um, previous poster (or maybe that was you) asked about the event complaints. Anyone can do a search on here and read all the rec parent complaints for themselves. They were memorable, obviously.
